Field Trip

Remi had her end of the year field trip the last Tuesday of school. She had been talking about going to the farm for weeks. She was SOOO excited!!! I took her breakfast in bed and got her all ready to go. The sun was shining and it looked like a beautiful day. I sent her out the door with her lunchable in a brown sack with farm animals drawn all over it.  She came right back inside and said she needed a rain coat. I looked at the sky and said she would be fine. She said her teacher told her she needed a rain coat because it was supposed to rain. So I grabbed her rain coat, luckily it still fits, and she was on her way.

They rode school busses to a farm and got to eat lunch outside. While they were eating it started pouring rain. So they went inside to a class room and someone talked to them. They got to see a pig and a chicken. She even got to pet the chicken! Then she said on her way home she got to see a horse in the field. She had tons of fun, even though it was raining and they didn't get to see very much.

While she was gone I decided to make animal sugar cookies. They are a cow and pig in case you can't tell. The kids thought they were fun.
