Scotland part 2

We left early the next morning and drove to Edinburgh for the day. It was a nice city and we enjoyed seeing the castle and the Royal Mile.

Parker really wanted to share his sucker with his "friends". Everyone is his friend now.

Kinda heavy cannons

Alissa found a new boyfriend:)

Everyone spitting into the circle for luck!
It was fun to see Edinburgh, but we really aren't city people. We keep trying though;) We want to see the big cities while we are here and we do enjoy them, but not as much as our wide open spaces! We did get some fun stuff here though. We got a little set of bagpipes, unfortunately they don't work, or we don't know how to get them to work anyway, and some wool socks for Blake to go with his kilt. Blake bought some, then we found some in another store for like 7 pounds cheaper. We took his back to the first store, then I ran (literally) back to the other store to get the cheaper ones. They even gave me 2 pairs for 2 pounds. Good deal! Wish I would have bought 10 pairs.

Hey there,

I loved seeing the Scottish countryside when I went a long time ago. When we went to Edinburgh, ALL transportation was on strike so we walked everywhere. I remember that castle fondly. Glad to see you and your family doing so much while living abroad:)
