Happy #5 Alissa!!!

We celebrated Alissa's birthday party on Sunday September 15th, after church and after we got Broden home from the hospital. Alissa got to have an awesome day, thanks to our dear friends.

First she slept over at her bestest friend, Livi's house. They fixed her cinnamon rolls and orange juice for breakfast, then she got to go to church with them. I felt so bad not being with her on her birthday, but she was happy to be with Livi. After church, Hatch's and Ingersoll's came over for her party. Again, our friends saved the day, Kim made her birthday cake for her and she absolutely loved it!!!

Alissa loves having friends over and loves opening presents. She is such a sweet girl and continues to love sharing. She always shares her treats with her friends and thinks about others. When she decides to help, she is a really good helper. She will clean her room, the toy room and anything else she can! We love it. She still loves Livi and always wants to be with her. It was hard for her when Livi was gone all summer. She would get a snack, or treat and immediately put some in a little bag for Livi. It took her a whole month to get used to the idea that she couldn't save things like cookies, and ice cream for when Livi came back:)

Alissa loves her brothers and sisters and especially loves helping with Kelsi. She likes to carry her around and play with her. She also loves playing with Parker on the swings, school with Remi and anything with Broden. They are hit and miss though. Sometimes they are the best of friends and have so much fun together, but sometimes they just fight and fight. She was so excited for him to come home on her birthday though!

All the party kids! Rilyn, Shaylee, Avery, Remi, Kelsi, Quincy,
Broden, Alissa, Livi, Parker, Andrew and Noah!

She wanted to do cake and ice cream first, then open presents. So, thats what we did! She loved all her presents. Blake picked out presents for her while I was at the hospital. He did great! She loved the toys from friends and grandparents too. She was one spoiled girl and enjoyed every minute of it.
