Blackberries

Last year we found a place where wild blackberries grow, so we go there often and pick blackberries. Sometimes the kids will ride their bikes and I will run there, or we stop on our way home from somewhere or, in the evening after dinner, or Saturday mornings, or whenever. We love picking blackberries. So far we have had blackberry juice, made by Remi and Broden(they said it tasted like water) blackberry pie, blackberry waffles and syrup, and blackberry ice cream. We want to still try blackberry cobbler and jam. I love that we can pick as many as we want and they are FREE!!!

All the kids love going to pick blackberries. I don't have pictures of everyone picking them, but this is what Parker looks like when we get home:) I think he eats about half of what we pick!
