Making cookies
Pool #1
Pool #3 for Remi and Broden, #2 for Alissa
She couldn't quite get the goggle thing figured out.
Broden's car seat tipped over off the seat when we were coming home from swimming and turned into the driveway. I looked back and he was upside down next to his chair, still buckled and everything. He was laughing so hard and thought it was the funnest ride ever!
THE DAY
Monday we decided to take it easy and go swimming. Remi and Alissa were up bright and early about 6:15. They went for a walk with Grandma while Broden and Parker and I slept. We got up around 8, had breakfast and let the kids watch a movie, make cookies and play while we got ready to go swimming. Then we headed to a lady's pool in Grandma's ward. It had a really shallow area for little kids which would be perfect. The water was FREEZING though. Each of the kids had their turn getting in for about 5 seconds. Other than that they would stick their feet in or enjoy laying in the bright sunlight on the warm cement. After swimming for a while we walked to the playground across the parking lot and let them play there while I got Parker to sleep. Then we headed home. I got Alissa down for a nap while Grandma took Remi and Broden to her pool that was heated. Then when they got home we headed to see the school where Grandpa teaches. The girls volleyball team was having open gym, so I played with them for about an hour while the kids ran around the Gym with Grandma and Grandpa. Then Grandpa stayed for open gym and we stopped at walmart to get some things for dinner and pool toys on our way home. We ate dinner, then went........yep, swimming again. This time to a community pool. It wasn't as cold as the first, but still a little too cold for me. I spent most my time in the hot tub and the kids were back and forth between the hot tub and the pool.
Then we headed home with some very tired, swam out children.
I can't find the pics for this day. Check back later.
